Dermal fillers are used to plump up wrinkles, smooth lines, and restore volume in the face. There are many different types of fillers, from man-made materials to substances that naturally occur in the body. Walker Dermatology exclusively uses hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, which naturally occurs in the skin, giving it volume and keeping it hydrated. These injections generally last 6-12 months. The results of dermal fillers are visible almost immediately and have very little down time, though there are always risks, as with any treatment.
Lip filler starts at $200.
Facial filler starts at $700/syringe, with 3-4 syringes needed for initial treatment.

Neuromodulators are a minute injection of botulinum toxin into underlying muscle, which temporarily blocks nerve impulses and relaxes facial muscles. This treatment has been in use for over 20 years for fine lines, wrinkles, frown lines, crow's feet, and more. Neuromodulator may also be known by brand names like Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeauveau.
In addition to cosmetic use, neuromodulators have also been used to ease symptoms of some health conditions, including: muscle spasms, lazy eye, hyperhidrosis, migraines, and bladder problems. It is considered a safe and effective treatment when administered by a qualified doctor, although there may be side effects such as redness, bruising, or headaches. Results are visible in as little as 1-3 days after treatment and generally last for 3-4 months.
Neuromodulator starts at $11/unit.

SkinPen® is a minimally invasive microneedling procedure that involves puncturing the skin with tiny, sterilized needles. These microchannels actually stimulates the skin's healing process, causing it to produce more collagen and elastin. These proteins keep the skin firm and smooth, and can reduce the look of acne scarring and pigmentation.
Walker Dermatology uses SkinPen®, the first FDA-approved microneedling treatment for acne scars and neck wrinkles. Treatment is quick and virtually painless with most patients seeing improvement in the first month after the first treatment. At least 3 treatments are recommended.
SkinPen® starts at $400 per treatment.

Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peels are a type of chemical peel used to exfoliate and remove damaged cells and smooth the appearance of skin. They can help minimize prevent and control acne, even skin tone, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Recovery following a peel can take 7-14 days, during which the skin may be red and swollen. Use of sunscreen and moisturizer is especially important during this recovery time. Multiple peels may be required for desired results.
TCA peels start at $200.
